As we stand at the precipice of a new year, let us reflect on the importance of forgiveness in our lives. It is time to release the burdens of bitterness, grudges, and hatred that have weighed us down in the past. If we truly desire a great and prosperous 2024, we must make forgiveness a way of life.
In the words of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we are reminded of the power of faith and the importance of forgiveness. He tells us that if we have faith as small as a mustard seed, we can move mountains. But this faith must be coupled with a heart free from resentment and unforgiveness. When we stand in prayer, if we hold anything against anyone, we must let it go. Only then can we experience the fullness of God’s forgiveness and grace. Mark 11:23-26 AMPC referred.
These words from the book of Mark reveal a profound truth: our faith is intricately connected with forgiveness. It is not enough to simply believe in the power of prayer; we must also cultivate a spirit of forgiveness within us. By doing so, we open ourselves up to the abundant blessings and favor that God longs to pour out upon us.
No longer can we claim ignorance, for the truth has been revealed to us. We now understand that the key to making or breaking the year 2024 lies in our hands. We possess the power of life and death within our mouths, and it is our responsibility to choose life. By embracing forgiveness and letting go of past hurts, we pave the way for a future filled with joy, peace, and prosperity.
Let us take this message to heart and make 2024 a year of bumper harvest. Let us leave behind the bitterness, grudges, and hatred that have held us captive for far too long. As we enter into this new year, may forgiveness flow freely from our hearts, allowing us to experience the fullness of God’s love and mercy.
Yours in His Service,
Elder Samueul A ldebe
