*Breaking*: Urhobo born Deltan, Colonel Charles Onovwiona Makes History, As the very first Idjerhe son to be decorated Brigadier-General in the Nigeria Army

The historic and colourful event took place Tuesday, 2nd of January, 2024, at the headquarters of the Nigerian Army, 82 Division in Enugu.

Charles O’Nyerovwo’s decoration with the new rank followed his recent promotion from colonel to brigadier-general in the Nigerian Army.

The brand new Brigadier General Charles Onovwiona of the Nigeria Army, was decorated by the Ovie of Idjerhe Kingdom, HRH Monday Whiskey, alongside his delectably beautiful mother Mrs Onovwiona.

Brigadier General Charles Onovwiona, who is a proud product of the great Okotie-Eboh Grammar School, Sapele, class of ’93, has serially distinguished himself since he gained admission into the Nigeria Defence Academy, in 1994, and after he graduated in 1998, with flying colours.
