Wisdom has said,

Run away from pride because it will destroy your potentials and everything that is good around you. And don’t ever think that it is only rich people that are proud. In fact most poor people are more proud than even the rich people and the pride is even the reason for their poverty and they don’t even know it. PROVERBS 13VS10 says it all that it is only pride that causes quarrels between two people, and you will agree with me that poor people quarrel a lot. Most rich people don’t normally have time for quarrel because they are very busy. They are always too busy and in fact it takes humility to get rich and remain rich, PROVERBS 16vs18. Pride can make you pursue a profession you are not suppose to or take Job you are not suppose to or reject a job you are suppose to take.

Pride is the foundation of all failures and destruction that people experience in this world. Proverbs 16vs18. It is a killer of destiny and purpose. And one very bad thing about pride is that if you don’t put your life in check with the word of God you won’t know when it walked itself inside you and destroy you. Take for example someone who is doing many beautiful things in his Church or place of work and suddenly he or she says no one appreciates him for all the things he have been doing and he or she gets offended and stops what he or she is doing ….. that’s pride. If you are always quarreling with people you are proud as Proverbs 13vs10 said. Pride creeps into your life like a thief, so guard yourself with God’s word. Pride is number one sin in heaven because it was because of it that the devil lost his position in heaven. Isaiah 14vs12-16
