Today Olomoro Council of Chiefs participated in the funeral ceremony of the Late King of Olomoro His HRM the Okworode of Olomu. In attendance amongst others were the King of Olomoro HRM Isike, The Otota of Olomoro Chief Eduje, The Osugba of Olomoro Chief Ifowodo and The Okpohor of Olomoro Chief Ibrede. Many Chiefs from Olomoro led by the Head of the Council of Chiefs, High Chief Gabriel Ukiho, were on attendance.

The very colorful event was entertained by the Olomoro Ivri cultural dance.

It is very instructive to note that the Olomoro Kingdom has ancestral ties with Olomu Kingdom. The founders of Olomoro were believed to have settled in Olomu before proceeding to Olomoro.
