Somaliland, had their Indepndence Day Celebration on this day 18 May.
Not Somalia! I am hearing of the country for the first time! They even have a flag and national anthem (). I guess they play soccer too!

Somaliland, officially the Republic of Somaliland, is an unrecognised de facto sovereign state in the Horn of Africa, on the southern coast of the Gulf of Aden. It is bordered by Djibouti to the northwest, Ethiopia to the south and west, and Somalia to the east.
