HOW IT STARTED..EPISODE 1
My mother sent me to my elder sister..it was haverst period and their maize was ready for harvest.i was to help her prepare lunch for those who accompanied her to the shamba to harvest their three acre farm of giant maize.
IIt was a three kilometers walk to my sister’s home..there was no cars those days and I was walking on foot..a two houses walk from our home.my mother gave me a Calabash of sour milk and another one of fresh milk..some potatoes and a pumpkin.
I started my journey in the early afternoon and I reached my sister’s place when the sun was about to go down..
My sister was not around but her young children were playing outside their homestead..
I greeted them and asked them where my sister is..they said that my sister has gone to a nearby well to fetch water.
I gave them fruits I have brought for the children and they were happy eating the fruits as we exchanged stories..
Few minutes later my sister came with a water guard placed on her head and she was happy to see me…
I helped my sister to prepare dinner and when we were done with everything she escorted me to her Mother in law..there everyone was asleep except a woman who was sitting in the fireplace with no lamp but light from the firewoods..
I was given a place to sleep..but after a few minutes,I heard the woman in the fireplace murmuring but I could hear that no one is talking to her..I heard something move from one corner towards the place that woman was sitting..I opened my eyes to see what it was but couldn’t see anything..
I relaxed and fold myself ready to sleep but I could hear the woman talking in low voice and a sound like someone is eating coming from her direction..
After About 20 minutes she was silent and after that I dozed off only to wake up like I was frightened by someone but I was surprised to see the dark room was full of light and I wasn’t seeing anyone except a table and a lamp on top of it..there was also a young child standing next to the lamb.
