My dear Igbo traditional brothers, please, I beg you all, if you know you’re a core traditional man, go and learn the deep things about traditions. Ask questions and keep asking then learn.

The rate at which I am seeing young men dying anyhow on tiktok is alarming and I have to notice that out of 10 videos of widows crying, 7 of them are titled men or ndi red cap chief.

Before becoming a chief, learn culture! Learn the traditions. These days some of you buy it, while the rest of you earn it but whichever way you got it, bikonu, doh doh doh, learn your traditions!!!!!!

There are some lifestyle you need to5h change when you wear that red cap. That cap isn’t ordinary! You’ve been “initiated” into the deep Igbo tradition and joined the ancestral elders. There are rules attached to such level and it’s not what you joke with!
    0pppp
Go and ask questions because I am a woman and I shouldn’t be educating you.

    But one thing I know for sure is that as a titled man;

    1. You can’t be eating anyhow! Especially eating outside. Be careful.

    2. You can’t be eating food cooked by every woman especially a woman on her monthly flow, a dirty woman or an adulterous woman.

    3. You can’t even be a cheat. Rather than cheat, marry a second wife or keep one woman steady as your side hen. But jumping around like ekuke is shortening your life span

    4. The way you people handle new yam festival is funny. Until you give your elders and ndi ichie yam in your village, you have no right eating the new yam. I can’t talk much on this cos like I said, you have a village

    5. Know the type of wife you’re married to before taking that title so that she doesn’t land you into problems and you use your life to pay for the sins.

    6. You must be visiting home at least once a year! Or be paying people to help you handle traditional things back home

    7. Sacrifice! When last did you give sacrifice to ajana? Ndi mmiri nko? Your ancestors nko? For your life nko? When last did you give ndi ichie kola and drink? What about your mother’s side? Or you do not know you owe that land sacrifices? When last did you give them palm wine? When! I won’t say more than this cos you know what I mean.

Ndi Christians pls avoid this post.

Igbo men, life is deeper than the money you spray and the oringo you do. You all better wake up and fix your homes. Fix your traditions. So many errors busy costing lives and doctors will say it’s this and that. Mba!

You’ll go and carry chieftancy title and one single Obi you don’t have. How?!!!

Better not to get the title than be dancing naked in the public.

    Sit up!

    Ndewo nu oooooo!

NB: I have written about the basterdization of this red cap and the titie attached to it..recently I got to understand that most of these menboys didn’t go through due process because they just wake up and realise their fathers left the cap for them so they just pick it up and started answering Nze na Ozo.
Some are even Ozo ndi Uka
