I’m heartbroken
Pls ma, I have this issue I’ve been wanting to really dealt with but would want you to help me .
I am on the calm side (by choice) not because I had it smooth growing up.
I met this babe who according to her just left an abusive relationship.
We became friends but I am the one who’s being abused on a daily to the point I started doubting what she told me about her ex being the abusive one.
The main issue here is that I found out she’s still very much in contact with her ex .
Recently she travelled for her aunt’s burial and spent two days but I later found out she didn’t pass the night at her family house but with the guy in a hotel for the 2 nights she spent there.
I confronted her but she almost swore with her late mom’s grave that she never met with the guy but later admitted to have slept at a hotel because of there wasn’t enough space at the family house.
Ma’am, I somehow contacted the guy just to be sure he knows she’s in a new relationship but this guy told me she said it was nothing serious (I’ve already gone to see her people).
Now, I’ve halted all further marriage arrangements but don’t know how to tell both my parents and her dad what happened.
I feel so defeated.
We grew up in the same neighborhood so telling the story of what she did will definitely damage her image in That area and even that of her people .
