Good morning, ma’am. I need help with advice. My husband is this kind of person who doesn’t like seeing my family members coming to our house for a visit. The first time I tried giving my cousins the drinks bought by my husband that was inside the fridge, I replaced it with my money. So anytime I am expecting visitors, I buy drinks at hand and keep in the fridge. And even when I stay to gist with my visitors and he is around, he will be pacing around the sitting room or he will either send our twins to call me and when I get to him, he will be either asking me of one unnecessary thing or telling me to be fast to discharge my visitors and start preparing either dinner or lunch by 2pm. We have quarreled over this matter many times, and he told me that he doesn’t love anyone coming to his house. I said to him that I couldn’t be an island, that my friends and family must visit me. He does have visitors, and he will also want me to tend to his visitors when they come. He started shouting at me. That can’t I see that it’s his work colleagues that visit us, that they discuss business. He told me that I should stop my family from visiting, this and that. Ok, fast-forward to last month, my aunt called me that she was coming to see me over the issue she was having with my dad. I am the Ada of my family. She came and parked her car where my husband do park his car. My husband wasn’t around then, and I told him beforehand that my aunt was coming. He just responded hmmm and that was it. Do you know that my husband came back and started shouting. Who parked where he used to park his car? Asked our gate man, and the gate man told him that the visitor was in his house. He had to call on the phone to tell my aunt to come and repark. I told him to park at her back, that my aunt was eating. He sat inside his car and didn’t come inside for some minutes. He came in later and went straight to his room. He just told my aunt welcome, and that was it. How do I live with such a man? 4 years of marriage. He is 39 years old. I am 33 years old.
