My husband was a poor man when we got married. I was a submissive and caring wife which made my husband love me the more.

It was hard for him to find a job simply because he wasnt a graduate. He was a carpenter. He constructed furniture and sold them.

I supported him financially with the money I got from the tailoring work I do. My friends mocked me for marrying a man that I was more financially stable than.

They always mock me especially anytime I visit them. A year after my marriage, we welcomed a bouncing baby girl.

Giving birth to her was a thing of Joy to me and my husband Goodluck. Eight days after her birth, we named her Adaugo.

Though my husband wasnt financially stable, he ensured her fed and provided clothing for us especially my daughter Adaugo.

As I said before giving birth to her was a thing of joy to me and my husband as my husband got a contract of constructing many sofa for a senator.

He did it and he was paid a huge amount of money. The first thing we did with the money was to relocate from the rural area we lived to a well developed area probably a city.

We parked into a flat where we furnished very beautifully. We used the remaining money to open a supermarket because i was still breastfeeding.

Every morning that my husband goes to the mini supermarket. I would invite our next door neighbour Binta into my house.

We would discuss about stuffs online. She would tell me about her family and i will tell her mine.

She wasn’t married, she was single. Most times, my husband will return after the daily sales from the mini supermarket and see us together.

The first time he saw us together, he queried her asking her who she was. My husband queried her in an angry tone which make her scared

She fearfully introduced herself to my husband. After that day we all became friends.
