The Isoko and Urhobo Culture: A Call to Showcase Our Dignity

As Isoko or Urhobos, we pride ourselves on our rich cultural heritage, built on the foundations of royalty, respect, and elegance. However, it’s disheartening to see our cultural values compromised in our music and performances, especially at social events.

The saying goes, “You are addressed the way you dress.”
Let us showcase our dignity and elegance in every aspect of our activities.
We can achieve entertainment and engaging performances without sacrificing our values.

I urge us all to promote our culture by embracing:

    Decency
    Modesty
    Dignity

Let us celebrate our heritage with pride and honor our ancestors by upholding the Urhobo spirit.

I am Jite, and I come in peace.
